This has been an exhausting week. This mama is emotionally spent. Selling our house, baby turning one and then moving to the one year old room at school yesterday. Sheesh. I need a break. Blessed to have all these things, but a little ready for more normalcy in our lives again. But since it's Friday, I'm linking up with Darci and friends for Five on Friday!

I'm still trying to find time for Charlie's first birthday party recap - but haven't had time this week - so this collage I posted on Instagram will have to do for now.
It was so fun seeing him run around the backyard and playing with this water table and pretty much going everywhere. He wasn't that big of a fan that I made him sit with us and open presents because he really doesn't like sitting still. But he loved having all his friends and family there and eating his cake!!!
Still cannot believe he's ONE.

Guess what this weekend is? My TEN year high school reunion. Are you kidding me? When did we get that old. I mean I know I'm married and have a kid - but has it really been ten years since I graduated from high school? Excited to hang out with some good friends! And maybe for some awkward conversations....

Moving. Moving. Moving.
That is what is on our brains. Countdown to our new house is just 6 days away. So excited to get into this beauty and start unpacking.

Not going to lie, I'm going to miss living in my parents house - the home cooked dinners waiting for us when we get home every night from work and the extra hands to help out and take care of our little man when needed and just being able to go into my parent's room at night and talking to my mom - but there is a lot to look forward to!!

These cute little things came to our door step last week. They are a little too big still but I am DYING for them to fit Charlie. They are just so freaking cute. OMG. And they scream that it is time for fall.
{Wait - who said fall?}

Speaking of fall...I'm starting to get excited with all this talk about the upcoming fall weekends. Which involve football games in Lawrence and Manhattan.
We are exactly 30 minutes and a little under 30 miles from Lawrence from our new house. A wildcat at heart, I will always love Lawrence. It's a pretty beautiful city. And Jefferson's restaurant, well I could eat their wings and fried pickles all day long. Cannot wait to take Charlie up there this fall!!
And to be fair to my alma mater that is just another hour or so west of Lawrence, we will go to at least one football game in Manhattan. We have to - have not been back to Manhattan in too long.
And Aggieville? Well, I know Charlie will just love it.
Happy Friday friends - wishing you a happy weekend!
If we don't plan this upcoming trip to Manhattan together with the boys, we can't be friends anymore. :)
