Five on Friday again!!!

It's Friday in December people - seriously!  Can't believe it's already the last month of the year.  Here we go with 5 things...

Yesterday morning - I went under and got my left foot cut open to remove a mortons neuroma (essentially a super inflamed nerve) between my third and fourth toe.  It's been hurting since about March and I finally went into the doctor during my maternity leave in August.

That's when I found out what is I started going in for shots in my foot/nerve to try to reduce the inflammation.  No such luck because it started to hurt even worst!!

The next option was just to completely eliminate it and cut it out.  It hurt when I walked (some) but I couldn't work out, run, jump, etc. because it killed!!  BLAH.  Good excuse right?  Well yes, but I would like to actually start being somewhat active.  So we schedule the surgery for before the end of 2014 (hello we have spent so much moolah on medical bills this year) and here we are.  Two days at home with my hubs being nursed back to health.  He's been a great nurse so far, setting the timer for every hour to change my ice pack and making sure I pump, sleep, etc.  Such a winner!!  You can find me right here today....

I'm in a boot for at least a few weeks- so we'll see how it goes!  Chasing these kids is not the easiest but I'll make it work!

Santa Santa Santa.

We've already seen the big guy twice now and Charlie is not warming up to him! This Wednesday our neighborhood had a hayride around our neighborhood, meet santa and hot chocolate/cookies at a model home. How fun!!! It was about 45 degrees so not frigid and so fun.

Charlie loved the ride and horses...

family selfie!!!!

But Santa not so much...

Best part was how Maddie literally looks at him like what's your problem bro?!?

We love our neighborhood!

Her smile is contagious and I cannot get enough of it or her!!! Or her thighs.  They are heavenly.

December = Christmas parties and shows

This weekend we kick it off. Jimmy's annual Christmas party is tonight and my

While I will be sporting a super stylish boot (see #1)...I do think I will also be sporting my super cute Stella and Dot earrings I just got in the mail from the party I hosted last weekend with my Pi Phi friends! Liz is an awesome consultant and they have some great - and versatile- jewelry that is so practical too!

I got these two sided gold earrings.  Genius!!!

Can we talk about really quick two things?  I know it's supposed to just be five...but two more things.

My husband purposely wore his letterman (or is it just letter?) jacket from his senior year of high school.  Really he said he got it freshman year, so that was like 14 or 15 years ago.  Ha.  He's a goof and said it would be a good conversation starter with our neighbors during the hay ride.  Oh Jimmy.

And one more picture to talk about - THIS.

Oh my sweet baby girl elf.  I died at this picture that her day care sent home.  Such a cute little thing and so funny!   Her teachers are the best!!!  Cannot believe she's 5 months old already either.

BOO - growing up too fast.

Ok that's all I have for now friends.  Super random.
Hope you have some fun weekend plans full of getting in the holiday spirit!!!  Christmas will be here before we know it!!
