We don't keep score

Saturday morning we set out on an adventure to Olathe to watch our nephew, Ben, who is 5 play soccer! We had heard about his sweet soccer talents and couldn't wait to check him and his team out :) Pretty much it was adorable and yes, he was a rock star. Typical Carter boy, right? :)

First, about half way out there I realized that we should have brought along some lawn chairs to sit on. When I mentioned this to Jimmy, he said that he thought they had bleachers....why would they not? UM- have you ever been to a kids soccer game?? Apparently he had not, because no, there are not bleachers at 5 year old kids soccer games. Anyways, as we came up and started talking to Shellie, I asked about the logistics of the game and nope, they don't keep score and it's all 3 on 3. Love it.

So in the mean time, Kenlie wanted me to play with her and Libbie. She had backpack and wanted to collect pine cones and rocks. And then we went on a treasure hunt. So cute!!

And...she was wearing a wiener dog shirt! SO cute! The dog went all the way around her shirt. She said I should buy Milly a shirt like that. I agree.

On their way home. They are A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E and W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L. Love them and so glad we got out to see our soccer star! Next is Libbie's softball!
